Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best known for the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She first began her career acting in the late 1980s. The actress became popular for Tezaab, a film starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her next film was the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle-class family and started dancing at a young age. In her early years, as she began to perform as an actress, most films that she made weren't successful. Then, she discovered success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. After her marriage, she took some time off from acting prior to returning. In recent times, she was in an important role on the film Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit was nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her fame is based on her work in the field of social service as well.
