Rosalia
Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is an Spanish singer of flamenco. Since her teenage years the singer has been involved in popular flamenco and music. Also, she has explored different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice as one that was sweet with an old-fashioned sound. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving the Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released in 2022, as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed solo on the show.
