Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. In Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Following that year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 along with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his elder brother and mother are also musicians.
