Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. She spent most of her childhood listening to classical music, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs and classic classical music. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos along with any dramatic performance. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began giving her a more intensive vocal instruction. She continued her musical training through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As an active performer as well as an instructor, her love of arts and music keeps her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially among the younger generation to keep this tradition in the present.
